New South West Water Better Environment Award open for entry
Our special ‘Better Environment Award’ is open for entries from tourism and hospitality businesses across South West England. Closes on 31 August.
This is a joint award with our sponsors South West Water and is for those that demonstrate an excellent understanding of protecting our environment, with a special emphasis on what goes into our sewers.
In launching this new award Guy Doble, Director of Waste Water Services Recovery, Treatment and Networks at South West Water, says: “Everyone in the South West has an important role to play in protecting the environment. One way we can all do that is by helping reduce sewer blockages by being mindful about what goes down our drains and what is flushed. We are delighted therefore to announce the Better Environment Award – which recognises tourism businesses going above and beyond to protect our beautiful environment by raising awareness and implementing best practice about what should and should not go down our toilets and drains.”
Free entry is via a downloadable form you will find here.
